On 18 May 2023, Miroslav Havránek, Director of CENIA, and Václav Snášel, Rector of the Mining University – Technical University of Ostrava, signed a cooperation agreement.
The possibilities for cooperation between the two organisations are mainly in the areas of research, environmental data, electromobility, contamination and old environmental burdens and technical environmental protection. The experience and knowledge of both organisations also offers potential in the post-war environmental restoration of Ukraine and the transition of the local industry to current European standards.
The students of VŠB-TUO will be given the opportunity to participate in internships at CENIA or lectures prepared by CENIA on the university premises, which will combine theoretical knowledge with practice in an appropriate way.
