Introducing the next holder of the eco-label – Czech family company Zenit spol. s r.o., Čáslav

The second part of our series about the holders of the eco-label certificate is a purely Czech family company operating in the field of household and cleaning chemistry, Zenit spol. s r. o. Čáslav. We talked to Alexandra Sokačová, who now heads the marketing of this successful Czech company, about why they decided to get the eco-label for their products Real green floors, Real green surfaces and Real green toilets and what the benefits are for their business.

Briefly introduce your company and the certified products.

We are a purely Czech family-owned company operating on the market for 30 years. In our own plant in Čáslav we produce home chemistry products, cosmetic products and cleaners for professional cleaning. The best known brands include Real, Solvina, Real green, Hit, Lena, Laguna, Riva, Alba effect, Real profi.

We are also a socially responsible company that stands by its values:

How did you hear about the opportunity to earn the ecolabel?

The EU Ecolabel is an established and generalised label. So if you choose to produce environmentally friendly products, sooner or later you will come across it. CENIA has subsequently provided us with the actual criteria for obtaining it.

What motivated you to get the eco-label for your products?

We are a socially responsible company that cares about the environment, we develop and manufacture environmentally friendly products with care. It is one of our company values. We wanted to meet the wishes of our customers and the eco trends of today.

How has this benefited your business?

It helps us to meet the requirements of our business partners in catering products, credibility and communicate and ensure our values to the end customers.

Do you use the eco-label as part of your corporate marketing? How?

Yes. The EU Ecolabel certification is included in labels, communication materials for our business partners and customers. We also connect with activities to promote the Ecolabel – for example, the celebration of 30 years of the EU Ecolabel SHOWROOM ON WHEELS.
