The European Topic Centre Circular Economy and Resource Use is one of the Topic Centres established by the European Environment Agency (EEA). The mission of the Centre is to provide thematically focused expert services and to fulfil specific tasks identified in the EEA Multiannual Work Programme and specified in the EEA annual work programmes. The Centre supports the work of the EEA in the following areas: circular economy, consumer behaviour, waste management, waste prevention, resource and material use, sector integration and green economy, sustainable consumption and production.
The Thematic Centre is a consortium of 13 European institutions led by the Belgian company VITO.
