Developing Methodologies for Reporting GHG Emissions and Sinks and their Projections, Including Projections of Emissions of Traditional Pollutants

The project Developing Methodologies for Reporting GHG Emissions and Sinks and their Projections, Including Projections of Emissions of Traditional Pollutants (MEMORESP, 2019-2022) is researching and developing methods used for inventorying, monitoring and reporting of GHG and traditional pollutant emissions and projections, with the aim of establishing a broad methodological basis for the contract research of individual project partners. The use of more advanced approaches and higher levels of accuracy of methodologies for individual sectors, gases and their projections is required by tightening international rules (including the European emissions trading market). The procedures and software tools developed will ultimately make it clearer and easier to meet the need for emissions quantification, reporting and review.

The implementing consortium is composed of the following organisations: the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, IFER – Institute for Forest Ecosystem Research, s.r.o., Transport Research Centre, v.v.i., KONEKO marketing, spol. s r.o., CENIA, Czech Environmental Information Agency, Research Institute of Plant Production, v.v.i., Global Change Research Institute of the CAS, v.v.i., Research Institute of Agricultural Technology, v.v.i.
