• information on the criteria and requirements established for the evaluation of products and services in order to qualify for the eco-labels
• receipt of applications for the eco-label award proceedings
• based on the results of the evaluation of the products and services, we prepare the base documents for the eco-labels to be awarded by the Minister of the Environment of the Czech Republic
• conclusion of license agreements with the holders of the eco-label and verification of compliance with the requirements pertaining to the use of the eco-labels
• distribution of the educational programme What’s at Home Counts! (a package of games and activities explaining to students the significance of eco-labelling and environmentally friendly products in an attractive way)
• supply of informational and promotional materials
• organisation of training sessions, seminars, workshops and lectures

The Czech Ecolabelling Agency also provides information and advisory services to anyone interested in other types of environmental labelling and declaration, type II and type III:

• ČSN ISO 14021 Type II Environmental Labelling and Declaration. – the Self-Declared Environmental Claim.

The Agency has established a method for the preparation of the Self-Declared Environmental Claim.
