Interactive 3D Model
The Interactive 3D Model is a web application allowing for free movement above the virtual surface of the Czech Republic. The Model contains altitude data and its surface is textured with colour aerial photos calibrated for a lower spatial resolution.
Main window of 3D application
The 3D Model of the Czech Republic contains descriptions of selected objects such as bigger cities, reservoirs, mountains, significant peaks, national parks and protected areas. User-friendly operations allow the user to easily change the direction and speed of the flight
as well as the vertical perspective; the keyboard is used to control the distance of the camera from the surface. The location and the direction of the view can be displayed on an overview map for better orientation.

The technical solution is based on software application G-VISTA 3.1 of Swiss corporation GEONOVA. 3D Model of the Czech Republic developed Georeal s.r.o. company on the basis of this application.
